Welcome to The Biochemistry Core Lab

The Biochemistry Core Lab provides state-of-the-art research quality biochemical assays using small volumes of sample while maintaining regulatory standards. Hundreds of distinct ELISA, RIA, enzymatic and HPLC assays are provided. For many commercially available ELISA’s, the TCL may already provide this service. If not, the TCL is capable of developing a commercial ELISA for study applications within weeks of the request assuming a sufficient demand for the service.

Assay services offered by the TCL are listed below. Use the online TCL Order Management System (OMS) (PennKey login required) to order assay services.

In addition the following Bedside Monitoring Testing can be requested

Bayer Rapid Point 400: Whole blood glucose, pH, Ca++, Hct.
On request: pCO2, pO2, Na+, K+, Cl-, HCO3-, Hct
