The mission of the Biostatistics and Epidemiology Program is to foster the development of clinical research methodology. The use of state of the art statistical methods in laboratory or clinical research involves both the development of methodological tools and their introduction to the applied setting. The CTSA-wide Biostatistics and Epidemiology Program (BSEP) is targeted to the development of clinical research methodology, and application of these new methodologies directly to CTSA research to accomplish both.
