MTR Program Objectives
The MTR program is designed to provide medical students with in-depth instruction in the fundamental skills, methodology, and principles necessary to be a well trained junior investigator. Upon successful completion of the program graduates are expected to have developed a strong foundation in the fundamental techniques of translational research. The program will produce junior clinical researchers who are knowledgeable about the complex issues associated with conducting sound clinical research.
Successful graduates will be well positioned to compete and attain a K23 or K08 award.
