Research Summary:
Dr. Meagher's area of research interest includes mechanisms of vascular dysfunction in cardiovascular disease, alcohol induced liver disease and the role of antioxidant vitamin therapy in both primary and secondary prevention of disease. Dr. Meagher's interests is also in the field of oxidant injury in atherosclerosis. Her clinical practice is in the area of cardiovascular risk modification with an emphasis on management of dyslipidemia, hypertension and women's cardiovascular health.
