Research Spotlight
Featured Core
The Proteomics Core Facility in the Penn Genomics Institute is a service and collaborative research resource that balances applied proteomics research with the development of new and improved methods for protein identification, characterization, and quantification. The facility encourages collaborations that apply the tools of proteomics to cutting edge biomedical research.
Featured Program
The Biostatistics and Epidemiology Program mission is to foster the development of clinical research methodology. The use of state of the art statistical methods in laboratory or clinical research involves both the development of methodological tools and their introduction to the applied setting.
Research Programs
ITMAT programs represent interdisciplinary themes which are at an early stage of development in the partner institutions. Programs will foster the development of collaborative interdisciplinary interactions which might in time acquire educational and service functions as they evolve as nascent centers. The decision to elevate a program to center status would be made by the Operational Oversight Committee of ITMAT.
