| A new ITMAT Visiting Professorship and Seminar Series is being launched in September 2006. External investigators who represent excellence in translational medicine and therapeutics will be invited to spend a day as an ITMAT Visiting Professor. They will meet individually with faculty and have an informal session with trainees focused on career development. The launch seminar will be given by Dr. David A. Scheinberg, Director of the Experimental Therapeutics Center at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, who is distinguished for his work on novel targeted immunotherapies. It will be held on Friday October 28 from 1 pm to 2 pm in the 76ers/ Flyers Auditorium in the Ground White Building of HUP. ITMAT Visiting Professors will be invited monthly thereafter. The full series will be posted shortly on the website, and e-mail alerts will be sent to all ITMAT members. | |
