The Institute for Translational Medicine and Therapeutics is pleased to announce that its third annual International Symposium will take place on Monday and Tuesday, April 14 and 15, 2008 in the BRB Auditorium and Lobby. This year, we wish to consider the emerging role of the academic sector in drug discovery and development while offering different perspectives on the key issue of the calculation of benefit and risk. Accordingly, the program features speakers drawn from academia, the biotech, pharma and venture industries. In addition to those from a conventional background in the hard or applied sciences, we have participants from economics, politics and finance.2008 Agenda |
