About the 2011 International Symposium
The Institute for Translational Medicine and Therapeutics held its sixth annual International
Symposium on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 18 and 19, 2011. This year's Symposium
focused on three areas:
- How organizational structures have matured to support translational research and to address
the crisis in development of novel therapeutics, - To exemplify excellence in the pursuit of translational research, and
- To give particular consideration to the challenges and opportunities afforded by the availability
of mega data.
