ITMAT Conflict of Interest and Scientific Discovery Symposium

The Symposium entitled "Conflict of Interest and Scientific Discovery," was sponsored by the Institute for Translational Medicine and Therapeutics on June 4th/5th 2015 at Penn. This symposium was conceived out of a desire to stimulate a conversation in an area that remains a significant barrier in translational therapeutics. We invited leaders from diverse disciplines--academia, biotech, venture capital, pharma, government, private foundations, journal editors, and the media--to provide perspectives on conflict of interest.
