Within CHPS, the mHealth Service provides in-house mobile/web development/support and assists with grant applications for studies using mobile/web technologies. We specialize in the full-stack development of HIPAA-compliant platforms that facilitate communication between research subjects and investigators (e.g. event scheduling and mobile reminders) and near-real-time, remote data collection (e.g. ecological momentary assessments through surveys, wearable integration).

mPhenomic is an open-source, operating system agnostic, biomedical research platform that facilitates communication between research subjects and investigators (e.g. event scheduling and mobile reminders) and near-real-time, remote data collection (e.g. ecological momentary assessments through surveys, wearable integration) for longitudinal studies. The CHPS mHealth Service developed and actively maintains the mPhenomic platform to support biomedical research through NIH CTSA support.
