iConnect

iConnect is an online platform to facilitate patient recruitment. Using iConnect, patients and healthcare givers can find ongoing clinical trials at the University of Pennsylvania and connect with the investigators via email. Investigators can create consumer-friendly trial pages, pre-screeners and track the status of each referred patient through the recruitment process.

REDCap is a secure, web-based application for quickly building and managing online surveys and databases for data capture that provides:

an intuitive interface for validated data entry;
audit trails for tracking data manipulation and export procedures
automated export procedures for seamless data downloads to common statistical packages; and
procedures for importing data from external sources.

REDCap also offers a built-in project calendar, a scheduling module, ad hoc reporting tools, as well as advanced features, such as branching logic, file uploading, and calculated fields.
